Label Credits are ShipMarvel’s internal prepaid balance used to generate shipping labels. They allow customers to pay a small ShipMarvel fee for each label they create—without ever needing a subscription.
Label Credits do not replace the carrier’s shipping cost. Customers still pay the discounted shipping rate for the parcel itself (the carrier charge), and the Label Credit covers only the small fee ShipMarvel charges to generate each label.
How Label Credits Work #
Label Credits are purchased in packs and used to pay ShipMarvel’s small label‑generation fee. Each Label Credit equals one shipping label. When you buy a pack, you’re essentially pre‑purchasing a set number of labels you can use anytime.

Using Label Credits #
Once a customer purchases a Label Credit pack:
>Their Label Credit balance is shown clearly in their ShipMarvel dashboard.
>Every time a shipping label is generated, one Label Credit is automatically deducted.
>If you purchased 10 credits, you can generate 10 labels; if you purchased 1000 credits, you can generate 1000 labels, and so on.
>Credits never expire, so customers can use them whenever needed.
Label Credits vs. Carrier Charges #
It’s important to clarify the difference:
>Label Credits cover ShipMarvel’s small fee to generate the label.
>Carrier charges (e.g. CouriersPlease, Aramex) are still charged separately at ShipMarvel’s discounted rates.
So a label purchase consists of:
- Discounted carrier shipping cost (paid directly for the parcel delivery), and
- 1 Label Credit (your ShipMarvel fee to generate that label)

>ShipMarvel Label Credit deduction: e.g. 1 Label Credit to generate the label
Total cost = carrier charge + the small Label Credit fee
This keeps pricing transparent, predictable, and much cheaper than subscription-based platforms.
